The Plan.

So I went on a veterans retreat over the weekend. it gave me break from everything and time to breathe.  I got clear my head and relax.  So here is what I come up with as far as the plans for as our work and the production company: In the next 30 day we will become a LLC and do all the legal things we need to do.  We are going to start our crowdfunding campaign  in about 40 days. The next 2 months I am doing all the research for my feature film, then I am going away for 10 or 14  days to write the film. In 3 months we will shoot Dumbsaints.  This gives me enough time to do director and acting prep. I also need to loose a little weight and build up in order to play Kerouac.

What I need: a Unit Production Manager. I am wearing to many hats and UPM can’t be one of them.  I just don’t have the time.  Also we are still looking for a woman to join our production company.  I want women to be involved.  So if you are in the Tampa Bay area and you want to join a serious production company is me up.  One of my main goals is to bring women into film business. They are woefully under represented.  That had to change. So  if you are a producer or director/ producer contact me. Help us create an amazing film company.

Production Company

So here is some good news: I am starting a production company with my very good friend Ken Anthony and Nil Patel.  Nil is a guy we met to discuss about him doing photography for Dumbsaints and quickly realized that Nil had to play a bigger roll. He is a smart and talented cat, who will make a huge impact. He will be responsible for marketing, distribution and branding.

Right now we have a short film called Dumbsaints and the feature film on sex trafficking and combat veteran issues. I am writing the feature and Dumbsaints was written by the very accomplished Casey Mensing whom I have known for 20 years.  Our production company  will soon be known for putting out amazing and powerful work. We are developing a 5 year plan and are very confident we will become a serious film company.

We want to find a forth partner who is a female filmmaker to join us. As you may know, I am committed to bringing and supporting female filmmakers into the business.  She needs to be an ambitious producer or producer/director  that thinks big and wants to succeed living in the Tampa Bay or Southeast area of the country.

We want to not only produce film content, but look into developing and producing long form storytelling whether it is for TV or the web.  We also may look into ventures like comic books or graphic novels, but whatever we do, we want to put great content.
